Linux

Reference

  1. Update to linux kernel >=5.8
    • Check with: uname -r
    • On Ubuntu 20.04, just install HWE: sudo apt-get install --install-recommends linux-generic-hwe-20.04
  2. Download the linux driver from one of the links below.
  3. Copy the firmware to the correct location:
    cp -iv rtkbt-firmware/lib/firmware/rtlbt/rtl8761b_fw /usr/lib/firmware/rtl_bt/rtl8761b_fw.bin
    
    cp -iv rtkbt-firmware/lib/firmware/rtlbt/rtl8761b_config /usr/lib/firmware/rtl_bt/rtl8761b_config.bin
